MIC parents are invited to a Rainforest Land Walk with Andrew at 8.30am - 9.30am (finish time will be flexible).

On this interpretive walk our Land Lab Manager, Andrew Maitland, will take parents to see the beautiful rainforest area, following different tracks and may include:

• the Scar Tree
• the Koala Forest
• the Labyrinth
• our native Bee Hives
• our Tree Shaping project
• ...and more.

With a background in arboriculture, horticulture, and permaculture, Andrew is well-versed in the many and varied species of flora we have here in our beautiful natural landscape. This is an opportunity for parents to see our outdoor spaces far beyond our school and admin buildings and to ask any questions you may have about our 22 hectares of bushland, waterways and remnant rainforest.

This is part of a regular series of Land Walks for parents.

Please RSVP to give us an idea of numbers. Meet at the Travelink after drop-off at 8.30am. As the terrain can be uneven, be sure to wear closed-in shoes and bring along a hat and bottle of water.

The walk is open to people of all ages.
